ZERT Pistol Advanced Skill Builder – May 18th, 2024 – Waynesboro, PA

The goal of the ZERT Weapons Training program is to train and educate ZERT members to become proficient in the rapid and effective deployment of firearms for the purposes of personal defense, home defense, and defense of others in situations that warrant the justifiable use of deadly force. ZERT members will be conditioned to enhance their combat mindset as they continue to build their firearms proficiency and increase their skill levels through a series of courses that become progressively more difficult and challenging as they advance.

This pistol course is an intermediate level course. Our instructors will push you well past your comfort zone. Our instructors are passionate when it comes to this level of training and we want you to succeed, we want you to be the best possible shooter!  This course will take you to the next level.

• Shooting from retention
• Rapid weapon deployment
• Recoil management
• Shooting from alternative positions
• Shooting from behind cover
• Dynamic movement
• Shooting on the move
• Multiple threat engagements
• Combat stress and the OODA Loop
• Managing your environment your gear and the current situation
• Scenario based Stress

• 400 Rounds of ammunition
• Belt
• Holster
• (3) magazines (minimum)
• Magazine Pouch(es)
• Hearing Protection
• Eye Protection
• Closed Toe Shoes (NO SANDALS)
• Folding chair
• Weather-Appropriate Clothing (Shirts must be tucked in)
• Hat & Sunblock
• Shooting Mat (optional)
